World Solar Thermal Electricity Association

AUSTELA has joined forces with the solar thermal industry bodies in Europe and South Africa to form the World Solar Thermal Electricity Association, whose purpose is to engage with global energy, carbon and economic development agencies. Announcement of the new organization, to be known as STELAWorld, was made in Paris on 18 October 2011, alongside the biennial International Energy Agency (IEA) Ministerial Meeting chaired by Australia’s Federal Resources and Energy Minister, Martin Ferguson.
